About Keith Nix Ministries
Keith
Nix has traveled full time in the ministry since 1995. He and his wife
travel extensively in the United States and abroad. In addition to
being an evangelist, he is also pastor of a local church in N.
Wilkesboro, NC and has served as International Youth Director of United
Christian Ministerial Association since 1997. He serves on the
Executive Board of UCMA as well.
He holds a Bachelor of
Religious Arts Degree through the Jacksonville Theological Seminary,
and is currently working on his Master's.
Keith is multi-talented musically, playing the drums, leading praise/worship for many years, and his true love - playing the piano. He has a very unique & anointed style of playing.
Keith married the love of his life, Margie Garnace, on December 12, 1998.
Ministry BackgroundKeith
Nix preached his first message as a teenager, and has continued in
public ministry since that time. He has been involved in almost every
aspect of ministry: from teaching Sunday school, leading children’s
church, being a musician and worship leader, being associate pastor, to
traveling as an evangelist and missionary.
Having preached for
over 20 years, & starting at a young age, Keith's ministry
background is vast. He has committed his life to preaching the good
news of Jesus Christ to all people, as the Lord opens the
door.
Leap of FaithKeith’s
involvement in Christian retailing wasn’t an interruption to his
ministry. In fact, he kept a full preaching schedule in addition to his
other responsibilities. In 1995, by the leading of the Lord, he took a
leap of faith into world evangelism, thus the ministry of Operation
Hope was birthed.
Since resigning his position in the retail
industry, Keith has traveled extensively in the United States and in
many foreign countries, declaring the good news that there is hope in
Jesus!
While the primary focus of this ministry is evangelistic
in nature, Keith currently serves as Senior Pastor of the Restoration
Worship Center in N. Wilkesboro, North Carolina. This role gives the
ministry a unique appreciation for the local church.
Margie Nix Margie
Nix is the Office Manager and Publications Director of Operation Hope
Ministries. Her expertise is in the artistic design area. She oversees
many facets and projects of the office. Her personal office experience
has been a great help to the ministry. Having worked several years with
the local Buncombe County Board of Education as an administrative
assistant, she has experienced many of the "ins and outs" of conducting
an office and dealing with people on a professional level. This life
training in conjunction with working as a Medical Assistant in the
local Memorial Mission Hospital and Mountain Geriatric Care, has helped
her deal with situations from a more sensitive viewpoint. She is
currently working toward her Bachelor of Religious Arts Degree in hopes
of becoming a licensed Christian Counselor.
Margie served her
local home church, The Asheville United Christian Church, for many
years as the secretary under the direction of her Pastors Larry &
Ramona Nix (who are not only her spiritual parents but now are also her
in-laws!). She was actively involved in the Children's Ministry,
teaching Sunday School & helping with VBS.
Margie is also
very involved with the Restoration Worship Center, where she & her
husband currently pastor. She serves as Minister of Music, leading the
band & congregation in praise and worship. She is also the
J.A.M.-JesusAndMe Class Coordinator (Children's Church).
